This area of our corporate web site is intended to provide
employees with resources to make communication more effective.
The HPRC Virtual Conference
Center (VCC) (Temporarily Unavailable)
The VCC allows us to create "chat rooms",
similar to those on America Online or Internet Relay Chat, where
multiple users can meet and have discussions real time over the
internet. Up to 100 users can be connected to the VCC simultaneously
and users can participate in several conferences at one time if
the need arises. Users can also send private "sidebar"
messages that are not visible to other users. All VCC conference
rooms can be password protected to assure that proper security
is maintained. VCC conferences must be scheduled through the Director
of Information Systems with at least 2 hours advance notice.
The HPRC Documents database allows all employees
to access frequently used documents from a central location. Documents
such as Time-Off requests, Income Tax withholding forms, and Expense
Report forms are stored here. The use of the Documents Database
eliminates the need to fax or mail physical forms or documents
to employees in remote locations.
This is the same corporate email that you access
every day, only in a slightly different format. Be sure to follow
HPRC's Email usage policy when accessing this feature. |
