Your Visit at HPRC

Your treatment at HPRC will be initiated by a licensed clinician when you are referred by a qualified, licensed practitioner. These practitioners include, but are not limited to, physicians and physician assistants, osteopaths, dentists, chiropractors, and podiatrists.

Treatment is initiated after a thorough assessment to determine an appropriate program for the diagnosis and current physical findings. The majority of insurance carriers require a written prescription from the referring or primary care practitioner according to the patient’s policy requirements.

At HPRC, the patient and the therapist review progress at each appointment in order to make necessary advancements to treatment and home programs. The therapist communicates a treatment plan to the patient’s referring doctor and follows with progress notes to keep the doctor apprised of the patient’s improvement.

When necessary, the therapist may contact the doctor to communicate the patient’s condition or discuss other available treatment options. These communication practices are covered in the clinics HIPAA policies and procedures.

All therapists of HPRC are licensed by the state and practice within the scope of the individual state's practice act.
